My love for the York Fair has changed over the years. I used to enjoy going as a child to see the animals, pig races, and eat the fried foods. Now I take in the haunting beauty of the crowds, noises echoing through the corridor of rides, glowing lights, and sheer manic.
I love street photography — the art, the lifestyle, and the thrill of the hunt. The camera has transformed the world around me from something that is passing away to something that can be captured. This manifests joy through hunting out moments and opportunities, and a second round of joy when I view and edit the image.
All of these images are shot with my iPhone and edited with VSCOcam on the go.
