On day four of my trip to Taiwan my good friend Gamy took us to Yehliu Geopark on the norther coast. Despite the rainy weather the landscapes were other-worldly. Certainly different from most anything you can find in the United States! At one point we had to duck inside for cover from heavy rain — this lead us to a long market place filled with vendors selling dried seafoods and toys.
At the end of the day we returned to Taipei where we dined with some of Gamy’s friends. I’m sure I came off as the typical American looking for a cheeseburger as all we ate was some sort of Japanese style food — cabbage, noodles, with some bacon and shrimp in a cheesy batter, cooked in front of us — an interesting meal, but not filling!
After dinner we headed to the alleyways to take some night photos!
