Why Your Company Needs Great Headshots

Headshots Create Relationships People like to know who they are doing business with. Today, the internet allows anyone to research before they buy. A great headshot strategically placed on your website is a way to introduce yourself to a potential customer. It’s the modern equivalent of a warm, friendly greeting extended as someone walks through your door. Conversely, poor headshots of your staff is a quick turn off. It shows lack of care about how you present your business to the world. You wouldn’t leave a shirt tail untucked or trash on the floor of the office, would you? This …

Business Review January 2016 – SWOT

I am giving myself ten 20 minutes to write this post, starting now. The purpose is to review the previous month quickly, while evaluating my progress and what I could have done better. I think it’s important to reflect, it helps us to grow. Let’s go. Strengths Getting organized This has been huge for me. I’ve batched my days by tasks & I’ve implemented accounting software for the first time ever. I’ve found that generated reports are an AMAZING thing to keep my freelance business on track. SMDV 24″ Hexagonal Soft Box – Gear Review

If you haven’t read my post on Getting Started with Speed Lights, I would recommend starting there. But if you are already familiar with speed lights and have a good working knowledge of triggers, jump in below! If you have, then you already understand the need and know that you stay current with your imagery. For those that haven’t, you may think, ‘Sure, it is easy for the photographer to write about the need for photography. He’s making money!’ …

Seth Nenstiel Photography – What’s New for 2016

I have degenerated cartilage in my right wrist as shown by the last MRI in 2014. With that benchmark in place and new health insurance I am able to aggressively pursue healing for my wrist this year. I begin this month with an appointment to see a hand specialist. UPDATE: I saw a hand specialist and he feels that my wrist …
